Default Fuel pump for B10 biturbo

So is this an Alpina-specific part, or will a BMW 535i piece work here?

the original pump ALPINA uses (made by BOSCH) is not available anymore.
don't go with the regular 535i (not even M5) pump though, it doesn't have
enough pressure/flow and could cause engine/cat damage if you push the car.
if you want to stick with BOSCH, you might be good with a 044 motorsport one.

I did. Nearly $300 from WorldPac. It is available for less through Amazon.com(!) but I was looking for speedy delivery.

that's not too bad. i wouldn't even be able to get you a much better deal on a
new pump straight from germany. i'm sure your bi-turbo will be happy about it!

ps. how about a write up on the installation? keep us posted!
