Default E39 B10 V8 Touring

There have been a lot of E39 B10 V8 Alpina's going through the last while, but this is the first touring I've seen. I'd definitely throw down a bid if it was LHD.

i would definitely bid on that touring if i didn't already have one and it wouldn't be right-hand-drive...

I thought I'd post this here rather than making a new thread. I didn't post it earlier because I had a bid on the car. It sold for more than my bid which isn't surprising because it looks to be in REALLY good condition.

What did it sell for? I was going to bid on it as well but decided against it since I really don't have anywhere to park it anyway.

edit: I found some more pictures of it when I was looking into it initially here: http://www.alpina-archive.com/?p=334...V8-Touring-100

I wouldn't have had anywhere to park it either, but it would be totally worth it

I also saw those pictures. If you look closely you can see that those photos are from a dealer called "Garage Current." They've got really nice clean cars for sale.

I can't remember exactly what the sale price was, but I think it was between 1.0 and 1.1 million JPY.

Is that the same car? The carpet is a different colour from the auction pic.

I noticed that too, but I think the carpet just looks that colour because of the flash that was used. I know I've taken photos before where a flash makes things look a different colour. Looking at the VIN the one at auction was number 100 wasn't it?

Yes, the VIN indicates 100.
The buyer got a good deal. I briefly looked at this one too.

We need to organize our bidding so that we don't bid against one another!
