I know. Prices have gone crazy. I'm trying to pick up a euro spec 3.0 M3 and prices have jumped at least 20-25% in the past couple of months. One I tried on last night the bidding got to about 1,100,000 JPY and still didn't sell That's more than I paid for my B8!!!

I asked my guy why he thinks prices have jumped since Jan 1 and he told me that european clients had been selling a lot of units in December so they needed to replenish. I think the yen weakening against the USD also has something to do with it. I remember it hitting 103yen per 1 USD early in January. Sucks that our CDN $ is becoming more worthless! I'm hoping the prices fall back down soon, maybe April or so.

Yeah, that's what I heard too. Even though the CAD is still doing pretty well against the JPY European countries have been doing even better. Apparently a lot of the BMW M cars and Alpinas are presently going to Finland. Maybe they are stocking up for selling cars in the spring and summer months.

The red Biturbo wen for 1,210,000. A fair price, especially if it doesn't need much work.

Anyone else follow this one?

Looks like it sold on April 17th for 1,210,000 YEN. That seems like a really good price to me. I thought these can run up to $30k in good shape?

Yes, in Europe these can be well over $30,000 in good shape, especially if they're low kms.

I imagine they're only going to go up in the long-term. At least I hope so!

For $12k it would have definitely been worth it! Such a gorgeous color too.
