I used to be a paid member of the BMW CCBC, but I haven't been for a few years now. I still check on the forum every now and then, but there isn't too much action there.
As far as shops, I'll be going to Nixon for anything I don't want to do myself. When I owned a 850i a few years back I got in touch with Tom Carter, and for a number of reasons I gained a huge amount of respect for him. He says they are a good shop, and I've been happy with the dealings I've had with them for some of my previous BMW's. I guess I should get involved with the BMW CCBC again. It would be nice to get out to some shows and cruises to see what else is around and have a good time
