Thanks Dwayne That write up will be a good reference for anyone else to doesn't know how to replace it.

So, yup, it was just the final stage unit. That rear torx screw was a bit of a b*tch to get back in, but I managed to do it with just a few battle scars.
Just out of interest here's the difference on the old part compared to the new part. |
