Default Hello from Alberta

Hi folks,
My name is Peter and I own a 1990 Alpina B10. #349.
Brillantrot exterior, alpinastoff interior.
The car was manufactured in Germany, exported to Japan, and imported into Canada in 2006. I purchased the car in 2008.

Cheers,
Peter

Great to have you join us Peter. Five speed or manual? Give us some pics in the albums section, would love to see it.

A lot of E34 owners in Alberta it seems.

Yup, I sure do. Alpina in Buckloe was nice enough to send it to me when I purchased the car.
I'll post some pictures soon.

Cheers,
Peter

Thanks!
Unfortunately, it has the slush o matic. The Japanese seem to love their automatics over there. I have thought about switching it out for the manual, but I perfer the car in its original form from Alpina. She may not be a tire burner but she's an awesome autobann cruiser.

Cheers,
Peter

Cool, looking forward to seeing the pics of your B10.

It's my understanding that all Alpina's come with an Alpina clluster as opposed to, in the case of the B10, a regular e34 cluster. Is there any indication on the build sheet that the Alpina cluster was an option? I know, for example, on ///M cars, an ///M cluster is standard equipment. The same goes with Hartge.

It wasn't an option on my build sheet, yet my B10 has the Alpina cluster.
Here's what is listed on my build sheet as options (the build sheet is in German so the translation below is from Google translator.)
BMW / Alpina B10 3.5 auto catalyst.
Brilliant red.
Alpina equipment sitting head trim Alpina rear with anthracite fabric material.
Alpina heated seats drivers. passenger.
Alpina real wood trim (complete)
25% limited slip differential
Automatic stability-control (ASC) INCL. Speed control.
Level control for the headlights.
Airbag steering wheel with leather wreath.
Grunkeil windscreen-green in serienmabigen warm protective glass.
Electric sunroof.
Sunblind for rear window.
Velour floor mats, front + rear ski bag.
headlights-high-pressure washing system.
Air conditioning.
BMW Bavaria Electronic CD stereo speaker system.
Productions number: 0349 gold stripes with deco-set-and model designations Alpina country.

Total build cost was 83,664.21 Deutschmarks.

I have some photos posted in my album now.
Cheers,
Peter

Peter, that's a fine looking machine and thanks for posting your build sheet. The only option listed on the build sheet for my e28 ///M5 is heated seats. And my conclusion is that all Alpina's have an Alpina cluster that's part of the standard equipment package.

Sterling, would it be possible to create a sticky where Alpina owmers can post their build sheets?
