Luckily, the only Alpina specific part i've had to buy is the front brake pads, and I didn't go through KSK for that. A member here @testdriver helped me to get them directly from Alpina in Germany.

I do need a little plastic support for the engine cover that is Alpina specifc, but I haven't been able to get a hold of @testdriver. It's not urgent, so I haven't asked KSK about it.

I scored an authentic set of spare wheels last night! Better shape than my current wheels and tires are in better shape as well. No center caps, but that's ok.

I'll take a few photos after I get them cleaned up.

Nice! Did you find them in Canada?

There seems to be a source in BC. I've seen a number of sets from him. Probably getting them from Japan, I'd guess.

I did find them local, but I'm not sure it the same source you are referring to. If it's the one I'm thinking, that person does have some nice wheels, but it seems like the asking prices are basically the same as buying new. Hence, why the same wheels have been for sale for what seems like 10 years, LOL!

I found the ones I got from a guy selling an E36 imported from Japan that just happened to have the Alpina wheels on it. I asked him if he'd be willing to sell just the wheels and we were able to make a deal.

Three of the wheels have definitely been re-painted at some point. They are a bit darker grey and the finish is rougher which is making it so grime sticks to them more. These wheels are generally in better shape than mine though, so when the time comes, it should be cheaper to get these refinished than my current wheels.

Got a new toy to lift the car

This should make replacing the front end components a lot easier!
