Default steering wheel refinish

my steering wheel on my b3 was badly cracked and to buy a new one for over 700$ wasnt going to happen so i bought a steering wheel refinishing kit from leatherique and tackled the job . it turned out fairly decent but i wish i had sprayed the dye on . here are the pics i took

this is how it looked before i refinished it

and the finished result

I think it just fine. If you feel it's too glossy (I prefer matte finish as well) you can rub it with some 0000 steel wool.

Here's a refinish R & R:

Yeah, good job

I'd let it sit for a while to see if it dulls down on it's own before you try to do it yourself.

Do you have a link for where you bought the kit from? Is it a single use type thing?
