Default New member from MA - "Hello"

Thanks for creating this site... it will be great to be able to communicate with fellow Alpina owners in the U.S and Canada!

I just registered on Friday, so here's my introduction:

I live in MA and have a 1985 Alpina B7 Turbo - #0066. I've owned it for just over 2 years and am the third owner. It has about 154K kilometers on the odometer and is in excellent condition, as I've brought it up to a top-notch level during these past two years. It was imported new into the U.S. by the original owner in 1985 (the only one to my knowledge) and is one of 5 known examples in North America. I know 3 of these other owners having met or spoken them over the years... great people!

I look forward to meeting other fellow Alpina owners in 2012, perhaps at some events? Here are a few pictures of my B7.

Lovely car and color Roy, welcome to the forum. There seems to be a few of you in the Northeast. Perhaps you can organize a caravan and come up to see us at TedFest June 30 in Toronto. It's not that far.

Thanks Chris. Maybe one of these days you'll make it out this way with your B7 and we can get a group photo!

Default Tedfest & Saratoga

Roy, I am planning to make the journey from Boston up to Toronto with my 1974 BMW 3.0CS for TedFest, and then a couple of weeks later the BMW Vintage at Saratoga in NY. Are you planning to attend either? Duane

Duane,

I'm planning to go both, but as my son lives up in Albany I usually go early to spend time with him and then leave from there to proceed to whatever event I'm attending. For TedFest I'll be leaving on Thursday morning from Albany, as I plan to stop in Buffalo to visit with a friend before proceeding to Mississagua. For Vintage, I'll go up on Friday to Albany and then head to Saratoga Springs on Saturday morning.

So, I guess I'll see you at both... sorry we can't travel together due to my crazy schedule.

-Roy
