Default B10 Biturbo Engine Mounts

Just finished replacing the engine mounts on my 1991 B10 Biturbo. Actually, I just did the left side as it was leaking. I bought two mounts thinking I could do both, but the right side is a PITA because of the turbo boost pipes are in the way.

The left side is easy, just remove the 17 mm nut from the top side using a 17 mm socket, universal joint and extensions and the bottom nut is accessed from below. I removed the bottom nut on the right might too so I could jack up the motor on the oil pan. It does take quite a lot of force to lift it high enough to allow clearance and remove the mount.

Since I was pressed for time today, I decided to leave the right side for another day.
