New Alpina owner, hoping to get a club up and running
I had brought a few vehicles into the country before: a 1989 M5 from Germany was my first venture back in 2004. Only 50,000 km, what a fantastic car. Then I discovered the Japanese auctions and in came a 1990 Mercedes 500 SL, a 1991 Mercedes 300E and a 1988 944 Turbo S (Silver Rose no less!). The M5 and 944 are gone, and I had taken a couple years rest from importing until this year when I helped a friend bring in a container load of mini trucks. That got me to watching the auctions regularly, and led me to an Alpina blue Biturbo back in July. The car arrived in September and is undergoing a restoration this winter. Thus my introduction to the (small) world of Alpina owners.
Living in Northern Ontario I'm pretty sure I have the only Alpina for miles around. But I know there are lots of you spread out across the continent and I hope to meet many of you someday. |

I look forward to see your B10 BT, one of the nicest car made by Alpina. |
