I was going by the numbers posted on the official Alpina site. Am going to contact them to inquire about the build sheet for the car. Perhaps they have more information.

Thanks, good info on that site. I thought it was odd only one was listed as built in1997.
In any case, very happy to have #0039 in my stable. |

Maybe I was misunderstanding what you are saying...Are you saying it's the only #039 E39 B10 V8? If so, you are correct I guess, but that's the point of build numbers. It's the only one with that build number
