It's really not all that interesting.
In the USA, our speedos are in MPH. One of the requirements during the Federalization process was to change the speedometer to one that read in MPH. The Federalizers did things wildly different on cars. My car had its original parts reinstalled. Some didn't. The paper documentation on this car is extensive so I wouldn't be concerned with it. The 240kph speedo is wrong, but correct for a Euro 528i which is what this car is built on. I do agree it should have the 300mph one but that isn't too hard to find or worst case, you can have one made. |
