License Plate Frame for non US/Canada cars
In my restoration of my B12, we have found a US/Canada(?) license plate frame that is a simple bolt on to the two euro screw locations. I recently did this on my B12. The US plate holder is the same one used on the 1 series (and I think 6 series).

Well first of all, what an amazing car you have there
Thanks for posting about the plate holder. I think I need this for my car as I still have the JDM plate holder. You're saying this is the standard part on a US 1 series? |

Good info
Do you have a thread going for that restoration? Looks like you are really getting into it. |

The license plate frame is the one listed in RealOEM for the 1 series e82. It is also the same one listed for the 6 series. I would bet that it will match up to most if not all of the euro 2 holes on the back of most BMWs.
Regarding the B12 5.0 restoration, here is the link. I have been working on it for over 2 years, and hope to have it done in the next 2 months: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...oration/page14 |
