Its ok , the heat i took from my wife doing the trade wasnt worth it lol . I have since painted the front lip and when my new decals get here next week the B8 will look perfect .

That sucks...did you get a deposit from the guy? Have you had an appraisal done on the car? I think mine is worth more than that, and yours is WAY cleaner than mine. I wouldn't be calling BMW to get a value on the car. They won't even know what it is (as you mentioned). Clean E36 M3's will sell for somewhere in the 13k range, so there's no way your B8 is only worth 16k.
Sorry to hear the deal didn't work out, but sort of happy you still have the car
